Who is responsible
Mauro Cassani, contact maurocassani1978@gmail.com.
What we collect
The details you enter in a signup form and the time you sent them. The hiring form asks for work email, company, role, reviews per month, what you would use Rateo for (optional) and what you'd like; the WordPress form asks for email, company or studio (optional), role, how often you take over code and what you'd like. The Symfony form asks the same as the hiring form. All three forms also ask how you heard about Rateo (optional) and whether you want the newsletter (optional). Like any web host, our host also processes technical data such as your IP address to serve the site and filter spam.
Why
To contact you about early access and pilots for Rateo. The legal basis is your consent, given with the checkbox.
To send you the newsletter, only if you ticked its box. Ticking it is the consent; the form never adds you to a newsletter by itself. There is one newsletter per page (WordPress, Laravel, Symfony), and an issue goes out only when something ships, at most once a month.
Where
The site and the form submissions are hosted by Netlify, Inc., in the United States, under its data processing terms.
Email to and from rateo.codes addresses is hosted by Zoho Mail in its EU data centre. The newsletter is sent by EmailOctopus, which holds the email addresses of the people who joined it. Both act under their data processing terms.
How long
Form submissions: 12 months from when you signed up, then deleted. Newsletter: until you leave it.
Your rights
You can leave the newsletter with the link in every issue, or by replying to any issue. You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent, at any time by writing to maurocassani1978@gmail.com. We act on it within 7 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
What we don't do
No cookies, no analytics, and no tracking of whether you open a newsletter or click its links. We never sell or share your details.
